I hope you had a really wicked birtday. I thought of you from the beach on Sunday (Saturday your time). I had broken my phone on Friday so I lost your number for the weekend. Wanted to give you a shout. I am not sure though if your phone still works up in the great white north or if you've had to change carriers & numbers with the move.

Anyway, I wish you a very happy birthday (a couple of days late).

It has been a long time since my last confession so here we go again. This one short (relatively) and sweet though.

I went on another whirlwind trip to China last week (left on Monday night, back on Friday morning) and actually had a really good time. Ever since my friend Karl moved jobs from the Shanghai office to the Qingdao plant it is a lot more fun. I have almost my own personal tour guide.

So we set out on our epic Journey on Friday night at 5.30 and headed straight to the beach. Thats how it basically went anyway.

We took a nice long drive up the coast to a place called Anna Bay which is north of Newcastle. We pitched our tent in the dark and fought with monster ants (seriously huge) and Koala's for space.

So back behind the wheel again after a 2 week terror tour of Canada and Germany.
