Rach and I went to see Colin James with Craig Northey (ex-The Odds lead man) last night at the Yukon Arts Centre.

Now, there is a man that can wail on a guitar. Very impressive and the sound quality was quite good as well. A good sampling of Odds tunes and Colin's catalog as well. Two men, two guitars (electric, acoustic, and a mandolin) and a wide open stage. Highly recommended if it rolls through your town.

The amusing piece is while we were at dinner (practicing our Spanish for the the big trip) Rachel is describing "Colin James" as kinda bluesy, kinda neat music, married to Diana Krall.
Hold on....
Turns out, she has Colin James mixed up with Elvis Costello. Not a small mistake but could have set the stage for huge disappointment had she been thinking we were off to see Elvis. I know I would have been REALLY miffed if I thought I was seeing Mr. Costello and Mr. James walks on stage.

Thankfully the concert was good no matter the player.
