sick at home so time for a catchup

It's been overly long since my last post so a catchup is in order.

A while back we celebrated Gung Haggis Fat Choy - Dustin did a great write up of it.

Then we went off to Smithers this Easter to do some visiting with Rachel's family and some *great* skiing. Fresh powder, nice weather, good ski hill, and sadly - no lines. I only say sadly because unless more people keep skiing at Ski Smithers it will be difficult for the ski hill to keep operating. I think there were more people from Whitehorse at the hill than any other place! There are some pictures of our trip on a camera somewhere.... to be posted soon.

I have "moved" into a new job - in quotes because it may take a while before the transition is complete and I am no longer a developer at the company. Also have other things cooking on the work front - not ready to talk about yet.

We had some minor water seepage in the basement due to the rapidly rising temperatures and volume of snow. A quick bit of water redirection and that has nicely dried out and is no longer a problem. We are going to investigate some sort of water storage system over the summer that will use that water in the garden and end the threat of flooding for next year.
