Baby Ultrasound Pictures!

We just got back from the hospital with a reel of baby ultrasound pics in our hot little hands. We are not sure of the gender but the little bugger sure didn't want to have their picture taken and they took a lot of angles to try and get some keepers.

Super cool to see that the little person has the proper number of limbs and such.

Hot Weather, Gardening and Photos

Today I did a tonne of garden work. We received a half a dumptruck load of dirt (volume = lots) and some of it was still frozen! Luckily, it was 28 - according to the deck thermometer, and most of it melted but still required great lengths of "FUN WITH WHEELBARROWS" preceded by "FUN WITH SHOVELS". Of course, I had to put the wheelbarrow together first which was "FUN WITH WHY DO I HAVE TWO LEFTOVER SCREWS".

I should note I am a little sunburnt from the 28 degree weather but the garden looks pretty kickass. I have decided to call it the Potato Mausoleum which will become pretty apparent once you see the picture & layout.

Before: & After

For those interested the "plots" in clockwise from the wheelbarrow/shed are:

  • carrots, swiss chard, beets
  • brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage
  • potatoes
  • potatoes
  • rhubarb
  • potatoes
  • broccoli, red cabbage

Walter is the Mausoleum Guardian in the front there -- +5 to death by kitsch.

Christer & Kraussy got married

A late post but I finally have put up the photos that turned out from Kraussy & Christer's wedding over this past Thanksgiving weekend.

The indoor tent kept us nice and dry from the *very* high humidity in Duncan. It was still very fun and the band kept us dancing till about midnight. Funny how as you get older the parties shutdown earlier - something to do with babies I am sure.

Here is the link to the pics.

So, you want pictures eh? Weddings, Juneau, Trippin' South, Bikes OH MY!

I have just finished a massive upload of pictures from Juneau, the Bike Relay, our drive down to Hope, our Groupymoon/Dawson City Music Float, and the wedding.

Sorry about the delay, but the pipe up here is quite skinny and it takes, literally, forever to upload pictures to the server. Then when you batch up a big overnight upload the server throws a time-out error and you get to start all over again.... I digress.

Enjoy. Post links to your pictures in the comments. There will be an update shortly on where you can post your pictures...

Welcome to 2007.

On the list of things to do this year:
1. Get Married - June 30th
2. Do the 50km Buckwheat cross country ski race
3. Ride "The Couch" more (my bike)
4. Float the Yukon River to Dawson for a honeymoon and the Dawson City Music Festival

Hope you enjoy the updates along the way!

Here is a taste of #5 . There are also some late updates in the 2k6 folder if you go looking!

More trips South

We are just back from a whirlwind tour de Lower Mainland. Hope to see my parents, Vancouver to see some peeps and Squamish to watch Rach's lil' brother get hitched (and do some awesome climbing).

If we missed you, sorry. If we saw you, it was too rushed and we miss you already. Come visit already!

The pictures will be uploaded slowly and such.
