Yukon Ho!
I am back from the Yukon. In the Currie tradition of short point form essays I will now enumerate the highlights of my trip with one exception: we did have waffles one morning, quite tasty.
Things we did:
-snow shoeing and triggering a pretty large slab slide (it was really wide but only slid about 1m down, pretty freaky)
-relaxing in a hot tub
-cross country skiing
-a 10Km Loppet (cross country ski race)
-more relaxing in a hot tub/sauna/steam room
-skating for a while on an outdoor rink (its minus 18 after all...)
--losing Rachel's puck somewhere over the boards of the rink
-watching the start of the Yukon Quest (a 1600Km dog sled race)
-going hiking around Miles Canyon, which is the reason why Whitehorse is where it is, gold rush + inpassable canyon = settlement for portage
-generally having a really, really, really good time

Sounds like a winter wonderland dude. I never thought I'd be jealous of Whitehorse :p Keep up that good work. And buy that girl a bucket of pucks man, it sucks having to wait until spring thaw to play hockey again.
